We have long recognized that 1199 was headed in the wrong direction—but these disturbing allegations of financial mismanagement, combined with prior misconduct, leave no doubt. 1199 members deserve better. YOU deserve better.

Yvonne Armstrong, Veronica Turner-Biggs, and the entire Members First Unity Slate are committed to restoring integrity and accountability in our union. We have a clear plan to build a stronger, more democratic, and member-driven 1199.

For too long, George Gresham has treated 1199 as his personal empire. But let’s be clear: this union belongs to its members—not to one man.

His lack of transparency and unchecked power have gone on for too long. We refuse to stand by while he dodges oversight and keeps members in the dark.

Enough is enough!

Every three years, we decide the future of our union. This election is our chance to reclaim our union.  Together, we will restore trust, transparency, and integrity to 1199.

Ballots will be mailed on April 1st.
